Thomas Ray Ward passed away peacefully with his wife, Rachel Steele, by his side at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 after losing his battle with cirrhosis.
Tom, a native of Northern California, was a citizen of Fayette for nine years. He was a kind man, always ready to help, who would give a stranger the shirt off his back if needed.
Born in Butler, Tennessee, on August 8, 1954, Tom was 69 years old at the time of his passing.
He leaves behind, locally, his wife, Rachel Steele, and father-in-law, Jim Steele.
Services for Tom will be announced at a later date.
