Vaughn Alexander Thompson, 63, of Warrensburg, MO passed away November 20, 2021 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Vaughn was born on March 4, 1958 in Boonville, MO a son of Ewell Elton and Lois Elaine Kennedy Thompson.
He is survived by his sister, Victoria Wainscott and husband, Richard of Boonville; nieces and nephews, Matthew Studley, Eric Wainscott and Amy Ivicsics and by seven great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew. Also surviving are his friends and caregivers at the Higginsville Habilitation Center in Warrensburg.
Vaughn loved eating and especially ice cream. He also enjoyed old time country music and going on car rides.
Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Aleta “Jill” Thompson.
Graveside memorial services honoring Vaughn’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin where he will buried next to his parents and sister.
