Wayne Turner, 84, of Boonville, Missouri, passed away at his home on August 5, 2022.
Wayne was born on November 6, 1937, in Pilot Grove, Missouri, a son of Emil and Margaret Harris Turner. He married his wife of 60 years, Jane Ellen Downey, on June 16, 1962, at the United Church of Christ parsonage in New Franklin. She survives at their home.
Wayne was a 1955 graduate of New Franklin High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed for over 30 years with the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
