Annual Christmas Dinner

The annual Community Christmas Dinner hosted by the First Christian Church in Fayette served more than 100 people on Christmas Day. The home-cooked holiday meal included roasted and smoked turkey, ham, hash brown casserole, green beans, corn, and home-baked desserts. More than 70 deliveries and carry-out meals were pre-ordered, including those for inmates and deputies at the Howard County Jail and those working at the 911 office. By 4:30 p.m., around a dozen people had dined in with more arriving.
