Central Methodist University alumna Katie Siegel, Ph.D., of California, last week was appointed by Gov. Mike Kehoe to the Missouri Workforce Development Board.
Ms. Siegel currently serves as the director of workforce development for Columbia Public Schools, where she previously served as a transition coordinator. She is a member of several professional and community-based organizations, including the Association for Career and Technical Education, the Columbia Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals.
In addition to several state-issued certificates, Siegel holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Methodist University, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Southwest Baptist University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Indiana State University.
