Boys and girls in kindergarten through third grade are invited to a Cub Scout recruitment night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 17, at Fayette City Park.
Parents may ask questions about the program, and children will have a chance to experience Scouting. The event is open to boys and girls, including homeschoolers. Those from neighboring towns are also invited, and connections with their local pack will be made if desired.
Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program for younger children that emphasizes citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, a positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.
Questions may be directed to Joy Flanders at (660) 248-1260. Information is also available at beascout.org.
