The Fayette area all-school alumni reunion will once again take place in conjunction with the Fayette Festival of the Arts on Saturday, August 1. The Fayette Alumni Association will set up at 9 a.m. at the Tricky Fish Community Room at 104 South Main Street, a block south of the square in downtown Fayette. The reunion will be open all day for alumni and friends to stop in.

Classes from the 1940s and 1950s will meet from 9 to 11 a.m.; classes from the 1960s and 1970s from 10 a.m. to noon; classes from the 1980s and 1990s from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and classes from the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s will reunite from noon to 2 p.m.

Tea, water, and lemonade will be provided by organizers.

This year’s alumni scholarship awards will be presented at 11 a.m. Recipients are Caleb Craig, son of Justin and Susan (Potter) Craig, and Hudsyn Conrow, son of Sonny Conrow and Elizabeth (Golden) Conrow. Scholarships are funded by donations. To contribute, donations should be sent to the Fayette Alumni Association at PO Box 184, Fayette, Mo. 65248.
