A small group of enthusiastic townspeople and college students braved the cold to form the first-ever Fayette St. Patrick’s Day parade last Tuesday evening, March 17. The parade with full police escort began at the steps of Central Methodist University at the north end of Main Street and proceeded three blocks south to McMillan’s Cafe, lovingly known as Mac’s, for an evening of Irish-themed fun.
