The Howard County Human Services Council will open its annual Coat Closet twice in December to provide free, gently used coats for children and adults.
The Coat Closet will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, and from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18. The program operates out of the Keller Building at 600 W. Morrison St. Visitors should use the entrance on the far left when facing the front of the building.
The council encourages anyone in need of warm winter clothing to attend. For questions or additional information, contact Beverly Markland at 573-239-0709.
