A hunter education course will be offered next month at the Keller Building in Fayette. The course will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at 600 West Morrison Street.
Hunter education is designed for those who intend to partake in any form of hunting and who were born on or after January 1, 1967.
A two-step method will be offered for prospective hunters aged 11 and older. This requires an in-person skills session. An online method is also available for those aged 16 and older.
