Linda Lee (Rea) German, 84, of Fayette, Missouri, passed away July 20, 2022 at The Lodge in Fayette.
Linda was born in Farragut, Iowa on July 3, 1938, a daughter of Harold Eugene and Mabel Irene (Lightfoot) Rea. She married Max Eugene German sixty-four years ago on February 16, 1958, in Coin, Iowa.
Linda was a homemaker for her family and was loved by them as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed oil painting, bowling, sewing and helping Max with projects on the farm which often included carpentry and other repairs.
Cherishing Linda’s memory include her husband, Max German of Fayette; two sons, Greg German of Fayette and Gary German and wife, Susan of Hallsville; four grandchildren, Drew German and wife, Cassidy of Atlanta, Georgia, Katelyn German and significant other, Joseph O’Hearn of Jackson, Georgia, Samuel German of Bremerton, Washington and Thomas German of Kansas City, Missouri and by two great-grandchildren, Lydia O’Hearn and Bennett Alexander.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Judy (Rea) Magnusson.
Family graveside services honoring Linda’s life will be held at a later date at Farragut Cemetery in Farragut, Iowa.
