Members of Howard County Boy Scout Troop 62 will hold a Burger and Fry Night fundraiser at Beckett’s Restaurant in Glasgow on Sunday, April 26. Scouts, with adult supervision, will take orders, cook, serve, and clean up from 4 to 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Troop 62 Scout Program.
Funds raised will send scouts to summer camp, where they will take classes to learn different life and leadership skills, such as financial management, blacksmithing, metalworks, small engine repair, and culinary arts.
On the menu will be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs. All come served with fries and a drink. Adult meals are $15, children’s meals are $10, and hot dog meals are $10.
Diners can enjoy service by the scouts in the restaurant, or order takeout or local delivery by phoning (660) 338-9978 or by going online to toasttab.com/becketts.
Local delivery options are for those who want to support the scouts but can’t make it out. Scouts will also offer deliveries to Fayette, with a central pickup location on the hour at 5, 6, and 7 p.m.
