Fayette High School will host its annual Pink Out night on Monday. The evening’s proceeds will be presented to recently retired Fayette teacher Glenda Beardmore, who was diagnosed with breast cancer early this fall and has since undergone a double mastectomy.

Mrs. Beardmore dedicated seven years of teaching Spanish at Fayette High School and spent 40 years in education prior to retiring last spring. She recently began chemotherapy treatments.

The evening begins with a junior varsity basketball game at 5 p.m., followed by varsity girls and boys games against North Callaway starting at 6 p.m.

The silent auction will be set up and ready for bidding around 4:45. Bidding will close at halftime of the varsity boys’ game.

The school district is still accepting donations. They may be dropped off at the high school office. Any questions should be directed to Tiffany Felten at Tswanson@fayetteschool.org or by calling the high school at (660)248-2124.
