Howard County Sheriff’s deputies have made three arrests and issued a ticket so far this month. On October 4, Jamar Stegall, 37, of Columbia, was stopped for a moving violation and cited for failing to maintain financial responsibility.
On Sunday, October 5, Michael E. Riddell, 60, of Armstrong, was arrested for First-Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. (See full story in the October 8 Fayette Advertiser.)
On October 7, Curtis Jones, 47, of New Franklin, was arrested for Stealing, Unlawfully Gaining Entry, and Trespassing, stemming from incidents that occurred on October 6 and 7 at the 300 block of East Broadway in New Franklin.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, October 10, deputies responded to Clifton Heights Circle regarding a peace disturbance. Carolyn Doyle-Moore, 43, of Bunceton, was arrested for First-Degree Sexual Misconduct and Fourth-Degree Assault.
