Steve Ronald Proctor, 64, of Harrisburg, Missouri, completed his earthly journey on Wednesday, November 26, surrounded by his wife, daughters, and their husbands. He is now in God’s eternal keeping. Steve lived a life marked by integrity, devotion, and a deep love for the people around him. He was a man whose presence made others feel seen, supported, and valued - Steve was dearly loved by so many.

Steve was born on March 29, 1961, to Robert “Spike” and Mary Lou Proctor. A 1979 graduate of Harrisburg High School, he went on to marry his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Lynn Kaiser, in 1981. Steve adored Lynn, his true soulmate. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and selfless devotion to one another. Steve’s favorite and most important role during his life was being dad to his two cherished daughters, Stefanie and Mallory, and paw-paw to his four treasured grandsons. They were the light of his life. Steve approached every role (husband, father, son, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, and friend) with unwavering commitment and a generous heart.

Steve established a respected career as a professional land surveyor, approaching his work with dedication, precision, and the strong work ethic that defined him. A natural competitor and lifelong lover of sports, Steve poured passion and determination into everything he did. Whether on the field, coaching, or cheering from the sidelines, his enthusiasm was contagious. More than that, he was a friend to many. Steve was someone who showed up, encouraged others, and lived out his values every day.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; daughters Stefanie Smiley (Rustin) and Mallory Clatterbuck (Seth); and grandsons Rylan Smiley, Rowan Smiley, Rhett Clatterbuck, and Beckett Clatterbuck. He is also survived by his siblings Mike Proctor (Tresa), Angie Enochs (Bobby), Scott Proctor (Kim), and many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Steve was a Godly man whose faith guided every step he took. His honesty, strength of character, and steadfast kindness left an impact that will carry on in the lives of those who loved him most. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, his loyalty, and the way he consistently put others first.
